In 2023, over 53,000 new Korean-made cars were registered in Israel. This represented a decline of about 13 percent from the previous year. Chinese car manufacturers markedly became the second-largest supplier, exporting almost 47,000 new cars to the country that year. During the observed period, the number of Chinese-made new vehicle registrations grew rapidly. This is largely attributed to the growing EV category, where Chinese brands were popular.
