In 2023, there was a slight disparity in the consumption of vegetables, greens, and fruit in Italy, varying across regions. In Piedmont, 82.9 percent of individuals consumed fruit and veggies at least once a day. In Basilicata, the share of those consuming fruit and veggies daily amounted to 73.5 percent.
