According to a survey conducted in October 2023 in the United Kingdom, 41 percent of respondents who had not used content control functions on social networks reported that there was a lack of clear explanation about how the controls worked. A further 42 percent stated there was too much technical language, while over half of respondents said that the information provided was too long.
