Italy: consumption of meat types by region 2023 | Statista

In 2023, there was a difference in the consumption of meat in Italy, varying according to meat type and region. For beef, Sicily was the region with the highest consumption with 70.3 percent of individuals consuming it once a week. On the opposite side of the spectrum was Trentino-South Tyrol, with 44.9 percent consuming it weekly. Regarding pork, 56.6 percent of individuals in Molise consumed it weekly, while for Liguria the share was 30.7 percent.
