Education spending in Italy constantly augmented from 1995 to 2022. Public investments grew steadily between the late 1990s and the 2000s, before recording a stagnation during and after the 2010-2011 Euro crisis. However, government expenditure has increased since 2018, and the Italian government allocated 79 billion euros for education in 2022.
