According to a February 2023 survey conducted in Britain, two percent of adults had been turned down for a job or promotion for reasons in part or entirely due to posts they had made on social media more than once. Overall, seven percent of adults aged 18 to 24 years reported they had once been rejected for a job due to their social media publications.
