In February 2024, over 88 percent of electric vehicle owners in Israel frequently or occasionally used their home charging port to charge their cars. In contrast, charging at public charging stations or at work, was relatively rare among electric car drivers. Only about 23 percent of EV owners used fast public charging stations on a regular basis. Even fewer use slow public charging stations. Since 2020, the number of EV passenger cars on Israeli roads has grown rapidly.
