SNS 24 works as the Ministry of Health's non-emergency online platform in Portugal. During the period analyzed, there was an increase in downloads as a reaction to the global COVID-19 pandemic. This crisis caused more than a six-fold increase in downloads, peaking at more than 2,400,000 in 2021.
