According to a survey conducted in March 2024 among online shoppers in the United States, nearly half of older shoppers above the age of 54 would choose to shop in brick-and-mortar stores instead of online to avoid paying shipping fees. On the other hand, only a quarter of shoppers in the youngest age group from 18 to 29 years old would do the same.
