In 2024, more than half of nursing professionals surveyed in the United States expressed concerns about potential job displacement when asked about their perception of AI. Meanwhile, 17 percent reported being confident about the creation of new roles for nurses in AI oversight, while a further 11 percent were optimistic about the creation of new, higher-skilled positions.
