Since 1995, the average size of new wind turbines in Denmark has increased. In 2008, the average size of wind turbines was two megawatts, and since 2017, it has remained above three megawatts, peaking in 2021 at 6.7 megawatts. In 2022, the average size of wind turbines installed in the country was 3.5 megawatts.
