In 2023, Israeli farmers grew 172,000 metric tons of avocado fruit. This amounted to an almost four percent decrease in production from the previous year. Since 2019, avocado output in Israel has increased by almost 25 percent and has become a significant agricultural export. Production peaked in 2022 at 179,000 metric tons.
