Processes in banking affairs in Ireland 2024
Mobile banking was the primary method to process banking matters among bank account holders in Ireland in the first quarter of 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of bank account holders who processed banking matters on smartphone or tablet was 74 percent. Online banking via PC or laptop ranked second with 48 percent. Branch banking was also relatively high, with over 40 percent of the respondents using in-person banking to deal with banking matters.
