According to a survey ended January 2024 in Brazil, over a fourth of respondent gamers who played digital games were in the country's B2 socio-economic classification. Respondents in the C1 group represented over 21.4 percent of respondents. Meanwhile, approximately 44 percent of participants who played digital games identified their skin color as white, while games who identified as Brown and Black represented approximately 52 percent of respondents.
