A 2023 survey across all 27 European Union member states held among people aged 15 years and older found that 47 percent of Belgian respondents used radio stations as a news source within seven days prior to the survey. This is the highest share among the Benelux countries. Luxembourg followed with 44 percent, and the Netherlands stood just below the EU-27 average with a share of 36 percent.
