Self-reported mental health status of cannabis users in Canada in 2023

As of July 2023, among surveyed Canadians with poor self-reported mental health, 47 percent said they had used cannabis in the last 12 months. The share of Canadians aged 16 years and above who reported using cannabis in the past year increased as the status of their self-reported mental health decreased.
