According to a study of remote monitoring on dementia patients in the United States in 2022, those who benefitted from the technology had a much lower rate of hospitalization and emergency room visits. In the 18-month period, those with remote monitoring had a hospitalization frequency of 5.2 percent, compared to 13.6 percent among the control group.
