Trust in TV and radio stations as news sources in EU member states 2023, by country
A 2023 survey across all 27 European Union member states held among people aged 15 years and older found that public television and radio stations were a more trusted source of news than private television and radio stations in almost every surveyed country, except Poland. Together with Hungary, Poland was also the country with the lowest trust in public television and radio stations, while Finland had the highest trust, at 71 percent. In Portugal, 53 percent of respondents trusted private television and radio stations, whereas in Sweden only 16 percent stated the same.
