Share of French residents who think the Paris 2024 Olympics will be a positive thing
When surveyed between September 2021 and October 2023, it was found that French residents with a positive opinion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games decreased steadily, going from 76 percent to 65 percent within that period. Meanwhile, Île-de-France, the region in which Paris lies, had an even lower share of residents who thought the 2024 would be a good thing, totaling 56 percent as of October 2023.
