Risk of tender corruption in Italy, by province
Elaborated by the National Anti-corruption Authority, the corruption risk index in tenders measures the danger of illegal and dishonest procurement in local government. One indicates the greatest corruption risk, while zero the lowest possibility of illegal tendering processes. This danger is highest in the province of Crotone, followed by Matera and Ascoli Piceno. The first two municipalities are located in the southern part of Italy, wile the third in the center. Overall, five cities in the top-10 positions are located in the south.
