In the lead up to the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, it was estimated that the budget for constructing the Games' infrastructure would be in the region of 4.5 billion euros. The largest source of income for this budget was expected to come from private financiers and investors, who were estimated to provide 1.83 billion euros. Meanwhile, the public body tasked with overseeing the Games' infrastructure projects, the Société de livraison des ouvrages olympiques (SOLIDEO) was expected to contribute 1.72 billion euros towards the budget.
