Monthly international air traffic in Israel 2022-2023

In December 2023, aircraft traffic at Ben Gurion International Airport reached almost 4,350 international flights. This was down from over 12,000 flights in December 2022. This amounts to an almost 65 percent reduction in international air traffic in the country. In the months following the Israel-Hamas war, which started on October 7, 2023, passenger flights to and from Israel significantly decreased.
