In 2023, the total amount of capital raised by venture capital (VC) funds in Israel fell to just over 1.5 trillion U.S. dollars. This represented a 70 percent decline in capital from the previous year. Simultaneously, in 2023, the number of VC funds that raised capital in the country dropped to 21, from 62 in 2022.
