Quarterly value of national investment and rate of change in Israel 2021-2024

In the first quarter of 2024, national investment in Israel increased to over 110 billion Israeli shekels (around 30 billion U.S. dollars). This accounted for an increase in investments of almost nine percent compared to the previous quarter. The fourth quarter of 2023 experienced a sharp drop in national investment. Following the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, 2023, national investment in the country fell by over 21 percent in the last quarter of that year to around 102 billion shekels.
