Prevalence of daily smoking Latin America & the Caribbean 2021
As of 2021, Chile was the country with the highest prevalence of daily smoking in Latin America and the Caribbean. As of that year, it was estimated that over 34 percent of the population aged 15 years and older smoked tobacco daily.Meanwhile, the country with the lowest prevalence in the region was Haiti, with 6.14 percent of the population within that category considered daily smokers.
