In 2022, the real value added by the IT sector to the gross regional product of the city of Shenzhen in China grew by around 8.1 percent and amounted to approximately 365.6 billion yuan. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the value added by the health sector increased by 18.2 and 17.4 percent in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
