Barriers to implementing technology-based healthcare in Singapore 2023
In a survey on technology adoption in healthcare among healthcare professionals in Singapore in 2023, 24 percent of healthcare leaders and 25 percent of younger healthcare professionals were of the opinion that successful implementation of new care models were hindered by staff's unwillingness to adopt new technology. In comparison, 18 percent of healthcare leaders and 22 percent of younger professionals thought this was hindered by the patients' unwillingness to adopt these new technologies.
