In 2023, foreign direct investment stocks issued in Saudi Arabia were valued at 795 billion Saudi riyals. This was 33 billion SAR more than the previous year. FDI investment stock in the country has consistently increased each year since 2015. FDI inflows in 2023 were valued at 52 billion SAR, which was less than half of the value issued in the previous year. Since 2015, FDI inflows have fluctuated, dropping to a low of 28 billion SAR in 2017, and a high of 122 billion SAR in 2022.
