In May 2023, an online survey in the United States found that only six percent of respondents used live-streaming platform Twitch. Overall, 10 percent of male respondents reported engaging with the popular video gaming platform to watch live streaming of sports games and replays, while only two percent of women in the United States reported doing the same during the examined period.
