A study from 2023 showed that Swedish consumers still prefer traditional retail stores over online channels for their shopping needs. Around a quarter of the survey respondents reported that they made their most recent purchase in a physical store in the city center. In comparison, around 16 percent of consumers made their last purchase online via a computer.
