According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, around 37 percent of respondents answered that they strongly agreed with the statement that the national emission trading scheme (K-ETS) was important for meeting the country's greenhouse gas emission reduction goals. This was more than 10 percentage points higher compared to the previous year.
