One of the main implications for businesses of a poor delivery experience is a loss of trust in the delivery company by online shoppers. In a survey conducted between 2023 and 2024, nearly a quarter of respondents reported losing confidence in the delivery service. Additionally, nearly two in ten said they would not order from the retailer again, the same proportion who reported losing confidence in the retailer.
