Between March 2023 and March 2024, the game Euro Truck Simulator 2, initially released in 2012, was by far the most watched simulator game across all streaming platforms, generating 40.8 million of hours watched. In general, simulator games based on driving vehicles ranked highly, with Microsoft Flight Simulator and American Truck Simulator generating 12.6 and 10.8 million hours watched, respectively. Other popular games in this category were based on real-life activities such as going to the supermarket, farming, and managing a restaurant.
