Nearly half of European logistics operators surveyed in 2023 shared that they planned to reduce the reliance on foreign imports in the next 12-to-24 months. That was also a popular measure among retailers, along with shortening supply chains, increasing inventory, and improving IT systems. Meanwhile, manufacturers planned to focus on increased automation.
