A survey conducted in Great Britain in March 2023 revealed that the majority of adults kept their physical books on a bookshelf after they had finished reading, but the most likely group to do so were those aged 18 to 24 years old. Meanwhile, those aged 65 years or above were the most inclined to donate books to charity.
