In 2022, almost 70 percent of people who voted for Die Grüne (the Green Party) in Germany said that they would be in favor of higher government debt, if this meant that social services would be improved. In contrast, only 30 percent of voters for the far-right party, AfD (Alternative für Deutschland), shared this opinion.
