Between 2010 and 2022, the prevalence of overweight and obesity in Venezuela showed an overall decreasing trend among female and male adults. At the beginning of the period analyzed, there was a slightly higher share of men considered within this category in comparison to women. By 2022, this trend had been reversed, with 53.8 percent of women and 52.7 percent of men suffering from overweight or obesity.
