In an April 2024 conducted survey regarding Australian shopper perceptions of cost of living, around 57 percent of respondents indicated that they were spending more on groceries and related products compared to the previous year. Around 30 percent of those surveyed said they were spending about the same on grocery products as they had in the previous year.
