In 2018 and 2020, cancer screening in the United States was generally lower among transgender adults compared to cisgender adults. The most significant difference was reported for cervical cancer, with 87 percent of cisgender adults screened, compared to 59 percent of transgender adults. Screening prevalence is based on American Cancer Society guidelines. 

Mammogram within the past year (ages 45-54 years) or past two years (ages ≥55 years). 

Pap test in the past 3 years among women ages 25–65 years, OR Pap test and HPV test within the past 5 years among women ages 30–65 years. 

FOBT/FIT, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, computed tomography (CT) colonography, OR sDNA test in the past 1, 5, 10, 5 and 3 years, respectively. 

Prostate specific antigen test within the past year, among males ages 50+ years who have not been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
