A survey conducted by Singaporean online news outlet Today in August 2023 found that the majority of youths polled saw it as their personal responsibility to keep their skills relevant for the employment market. 59 percent of youths surveyed stated that they agreed with that sentiment, while 26 percent strongly agreed with it.
