In 2020, Mexico had a protestant and evangelical population of 14,095,307 people, the second most followed religion in the country. The most southern Mexican state, Chiapas, concentrated almost 1.8 million people of the religion. The Mexico State followed with around 1.34 million evangelicals and protestants.
