In 2020, Mexico had a protestant and evangelical population of 14,095,307 people, the second most followed religion in the country, just behind Catholicism. During that year, 11.5 percent of that population was 60 years of age or older. The second age group with the most catholic followers was between 10 and 14 years of age, with 9.4 percent.
