In 2022, Poland had the largest job market in the renewable energy industry, totaling approximately 212,000 in 2022. The solar photovoltaic sector was the largest employer, with around 114,000 jobs, followed by solid biomass and liquid biofuels. Bulgaria was the second CEE country based on the number of jobs in renewable energy, measuring at 43,000, followed by Romania and Czechia.
