In a 2024 study on sportsbook users in the United States, it was found that the age group with the largest share of users was the 29 to 36-year-old demographic, with 26 percent. On the other end of the scale, users between the ages of 21 to 28 years old formed the smallest demographic, with only seven percent of users falling into this age bracket.

The sportsbooks surveyed included BetMGM Sportsbook, BetRivers Sugarhouse, Caesars William Hill, DraftKings Sportsbook, ESPN Bet Sportsbook, Fanatics Sportsbook & Casino, FanDuel Sportsrook, and Hard Rock Sportsbook.
