According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2024, around 41 percent of respondents aged between 16 and 34 years said that the main reason for not using shared mobility services in India was the lack of availability in their area. In contrast, about 40 percent of respondents aged 55 and above stated that they preferred using their own vehicles.
