The majority of respondents from CEE countries shared the opinion that climate measures taken by their governments would lead to a decrease in employment opportunities, based on a 2023 survey. The share of respondents expecting climate measures to create more jobs than they would destroy was the highest in Romania and Slovenia, totaling 49 and 48 percent, respectively.
