According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2024, about 65 percent of respondents aged 25 to 34 reported using shared mobility services such as ride-hailing, car-pooling, and bike-sharing in India. In contrast, respondents aged 55 and older did not use shared mobility services as much compared to younger respondents.
