In a global survey on music consumption trends, 94 percent of respondents in India reported using licensed audio streaming services to listen to music. Contrariwise, over 70 percent admitted to using illegal or unlicensed means to do the same. That year, Indian listeners spent over 24 hours a week on average consuming music.
