Germany: average used car list price and gross trade residual value by fuel type 2024

As of April 2024, used plug-in hybrid electric cars tended to be the most expensive in Germany, costing an average of nearly 50,400 euros. Despite this high list price, plug-in hybrids had the second-highest average gross trade residual value. Used diesel cars, with an average list price slightly cheaper than PHEVs, had the highest gross trade residual value at nearly 24,100 euros.
