Inflation increased rapidly around the world through 2022 and 2023, before it started falling in some countries in 2024. As of the spring of 2024, nearly 60 percent of the respondents in Argentina were either finding it quite or very difficult to make ends meet, while over 40 percent in Turkey were doing the same. The two countries have been struggling with extremely high inflation rates in recent years.
